Developing and using new skills

I work with children and adolescents who present with a variety of developmental, behavioral, and emotion-regulation concerns. While the bulk of my training has focused on working with individuals with developmental differences, I am able to work with children and adolescents who need help with learning, practicing, and independently using a variety of adaptive skills.

These include:

  • Functional Communication (coordinating across home, school, and community)
  • Social Skills (facilitating play dates/get-togethers)
  • Daily Routines (sleep, tooth brushing, getting dressed)
  • Coping Skills (positive self-talk, self-monitoring)
